A collection of surgical illustrations and diagrams created initially for use at WVU Medical School in 2020

This is an ongoing project with the surgical team at WVU to aid in teaching their residents and medical students as more learning must be done virtually now than ever before.

The first series was focused on the Appendix, and deals with looking for signs in the patient, as well as depicting the critical surrounding organs. This was my first time illustrating anything medically related, but I intend to do more of this in the future.
